The emperor has declared that pavilions shall be constructed among the lanterns floating on the lake for this yearā€™s festival. Place pavilions to earn gifts from the emperor and redeem those gifts for powerful actions to make this the best harvest festival yet!

InĀ Lanterns: The Emperor's Gifts, an expansion to Christopher Chung's award-winningĀ Lanterns: The Harvest Festival, players start with a small supply of pavilions. When you place a tile, you may choose to build a pavilion on that tile. When you make a color match on a pavilion, you earn a gift from the emperor, a new currency that can activate special actions, as defined by emperor cards.

Two emperor cards are revealed each game. On their turn, a player can redeem two gifts to activate one card and perform the special action associated with it ā€” make an extra dedication at the end of your turn, convert favor tokens into victory points, and more! These new abilities add variety and enhance the experience ofĀ Lanterns: The Harvest FestivalĀ while honoring the simplicity of the original game.

Shipping

  • We ship items out Monday - Friday. Orders received by 9AM Central Time will be shipped out the same business day.
  • We utilize both USPS and UPS for shipping services. Both options should be displayed during checkout if the customer is paying for shipping.
  • If the order contains nothing but books, we can use USPS Media Mail to keep your shipping costs low. If board games are included on the order, we are unable to utilize Media Mail.
  • On orders that qualify for free shipping, we utilize the most cost-effective option based on the destination location (this is usually UPS).

Returns

New Items are able to be returned within 30 days of receipt in the same condition they were shipped in. New items that have been opened will not be accepted for return. Return shipping is at buyer's expense.

Used Items are able to be returned if they are found to not be in the described condition. Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt to discuss return options.
